Semper Solaris is honored to recognize Michele Linn as our latest Semper Cares Recipient for Project Zulu. Michele is a Gold Star Spouse who lost her husband, who served in the Marine Corps, just two days after their daughter’s first birthday. Despite unimaginable loss and years of hardship as a single mother, Michele has remained a steadfast advocate for other surviving spouses—volunteering her time, serving as a Volunteer Peer Support with the Tragedy Assistance Program for Survivors (TAPS), and working to support legislation for fellow widows. We are proud to install a free solar panel system on Michele’s home to help ease her financial burden and honor her continued strength and service.
