4. Amusement Park Overload

As most people know, Los Angeles is home to some of the best amusement parks in the entire United States. But most locals never take advantage of these parks that can be found right in their own backyards.

Disneyland, California Adventures, and Universal Studios are usually jam-packed with tourists on weekends but being a local comes with some perks. If you are able to visit the parks on a weekday, while most are at work, you can have a good time while beating the crowds.

Most parks even offer a locals discount to encourage Los Angeles residents to visit these parks more frequently. These parks are always changing their attractions as new movies are released, giving people a good excuse to visit the parks every so often.
